Sacrificing Life for Love
Sacrificing one's life for love sounds totally irrational, just like words or actions from some cheap soppy film or Brazilian soap opera filled with easily discernable fake tragedy and all that drama.
However, people can sacrifice their life for love for many different reasons. There are cases when these sacrifices are senseless, needless and, to put it non-mildly, totally stupid. That's when a person tries to commit suicide because of some problems with the person he or she loves, in this way he/she sacrifices his/her life for the sake of the closest person, who in the long run will invariably blame himself/herself for the emotionally unstable (ex-)partner's stupid intentional decision to commit suicide.
There are more sensible cases when a person puts his/her life in the hands of the person he/she loves for the sake of preserving the latter one's life. For instance, this happens when a man saves his woman by covering her body with his when she is attacked by criminals, or any other similar and quite rare cases. Or, for example when a person sacrifices his/her organs for the sake of someone he or she loves. It means that he/she sacrifices her health and sometimes even life – that's' noble and quite easy decision for people who are truly in love.
Sacrificing your life for love is on the one hand very stupid and unfair, if we base on common sense we were given our lives – the most precious things we have for us to preserve them instead of giving them to someone else; however, as we know, true love and common sense hardly ever make friends...
