Why Sacrifice – Cynical View
There is a very cynical opinion regarding the issue of sacrificing for love, we would also like to dwell upon it in this very article. Some people say that there is absolutely no sense in sacrificing anything for love. Why – because love is a purely egoistic feeling – the feeling when you need a person only to make your beloved self feel good, comfortable and satisfied both sexually and emotionally.
So if love is one of the most innocent manifestations of egoism, why the heck one must go against himself or herself i.e. breaking all the theories of egoism for the sake of fitting into another person's life. Why become a walking contradiction and hypocritically combine your selfishness with some fake attempts to break yourself and refuse from everything – all the good things that life has to offer? – Quite cynical, wouldn't you agree?
Of course, a person who is in love and who is able to love deeply and genuinely will scarcely have such thoughts, and it means that sacrifices for love will never end. However, it would be a perfect golden middle if an in-love person could switch on his/her head – use the head when saying he/she is ready to sacrifice without even thinking the issue over for some time.
On the other hand, there's no need to change anything about the way it goes, because if people hadn't made any mistakes, life wouldn't have been so colourful, so wonderful and so tragic at the same time.
